Terms of Service

These terms are a legally binding agreement between you and B-SQUARED IT CONSULTING LTD (registered in England and Wales, company number 16663585), the operator of Rewardo. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Rewardo website at rewardo.travel (the “Website”), the Rewardo browser extension (the “Extension”), or any associated mobile or API service (together, the “Service”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.

2. Description of the service

Rewardo is a community-driven award travel platform that aggregates hotel reward programme availability and pricing data. The Service enables users to:

  • Search for and compare hotel award availability across multiple loyalty programmes
  • Track their loyalty programme points balances in one place
  • Contribute award pricing data via the Website or Browser Extension
  • Earn contribution points that offset subscription costs
  • Access an AI Chat assistant for award travel planning (AI_AGENT tier)
  • Access our data via API key (DEVELOPER tier)

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any hotel group, airline, or loyalty programme. All third-party trademarks and brand names belong to their respective owners.

The availability and pricing data displayed is contributed and cached by the community. It is provided for informational purposes only. Always verify with the relevant loyalty programme before making a booking.

3. Account registration

To access most features of the Service, you must create an account. You may register using an email address and password, or via a supported social login provider, through our authentication partner Auth0.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Keep your password confidential and not share it with any third party
  • Notify us immediately at hello@rewardo.travel if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or subscribe to a paid tier.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Rewardo offers the following subscription tiers. Prices are shown inclusive of any applicable VAT:

Auto-renewal: Monthly subscriptions (SCOUT, EXPLORER, DEVELOPER, AI_AGENT) renew automatically on the same calendar date each month until cancelled. The charge will be applied to the payment method on file via Stripe. You will receive an email receipt after each renewal.

SCOUT contribution credit: Contribution points are credited monthly based on your data submissions in the preceding 30 days. The credit is applied as a reduction to your next billing charge, subject to a minimum charge of £1.00 per month.

Price changes: We will give you at least 30 days' advance written notice (by email to your registered address) before any change in subscription pricing takes effect for your account. If you do not cancel before the new price takes effect, you will be deemed to have accepted the change. This notice period is in addition to your statutory cancellation rights.

Payment processing: All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your full payment card details; Stripe handles all card data under PCI DSS standards.

5. Cooling-off period and cancellation

Your statutory right to cancel: Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel a subscription contract within 14 calendar days of the date your subscription begins (the “cooling-off period”), without giving any reason. If you exercise this right, we will refund any amount you have paid within 14 days.

Waiver of cooling-off period for digital content (monthly subscriptions): By subscribing to a monthly tier and requesting that we begin providing the digital service immediately, you expressly acknowledge that performance of the contract begins immediately upon purchase and that you lose your right to cancel once the service has been fully performed. In the case of a monthly subscription, this means that once you begin accessing the upgraded features, the right to a full refund under the 14-day cooling-off period is waived. We will confirm your acknowledgement of this waiver at the point of checkout.

DAY_TRIP (24-hour access): The DAY_TRIP tier grants immediate access to the full service for 24 hours from purchase. By purchasing a DAY_TRIP pass, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that the 14-day cooling-off right is waived as the digital service begins immediately and is fully performed within the 24-hour period. This waiver will be confirmed at checkout. No refund is available after purchase of a DAY_TRIP pass unless the service was not made available due to a fault on our part.

Cancellation of monthly subscriptions: You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us at hello@rewardo.travel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you retain access to paid features until that date. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial months, except where required by law or where we are at fault.

Refunds outside the cooling-off period: We will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis where there is a service fault that we have been unable to resolve within a reasonable time. Contact us at hello@rewardo.travel with your account details and a description of the issue.

Consumer Rights Act 2015: Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Where a digital subscription is not of satisfactory quality, you may be entitled to a repeat performance or, if that is not possible, a price reduction.

6. Community data contribution

Rewardo's community model depends on users contributing award pricing data. When you submit pricing data (whether via the Website, the Extension, or the Worker), you grant B-SQUARED IT CONSULTING LTD a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to store, process, display, and distribute that data as part of the community pricing database.

Public nature of contributed data: Contributed pricing data (hotel name, dates, point costs, room category, availability) is displayed to all Rewardo users, including free-tier users. Your personal identity is not publicly linked to specific data submissions visible to other users. We do maintain internal records of contributions for the purposes of calculating contribution points, fraud detection, and auditing data quality.

Data quality: You agree to submit only genuine award pricing data that you have personally observed during your own searches on loyalty programme websites. Submitting false, manipulated, or fabricated pricing data is a breach of these terms and may result in immediate account suspension.

Contribution points: Contribution points are awarded at our discretion for valid, verified data submissions. We reserve the right to adjust the point value of submissions, disallow submissions that duplicate existing fresh data, and change the contribution credit scheme with reasonable notice.

7. Browser extension terms of use

The Rewardo browser extension is provided as a Chrome and Edge extension (Manifest v3). By installing the Extension, you agree to the following additional terms:

  • The Extension captures award pricing data from hotel booking pages on supported websites (Hilton.com, IHG.com, Hyatt.com, Marriott.com, BritishAirways.com, Americanexpress.com, VirginAtlantic.com, Accor.com) and transmits it to Rewardo servers.
  • By installing and enabling the Extension, you consent to this data capture and transmission as described in our Extension Privacy Notice.
  • The optional Worker mode may open browser tabs autonomously to collect pricing data. You will be informed when Worker mode is active and may disable it at any time.
  • You must not modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the Extension beyond what is permissible under applicable law.
  • You must not use the Extension to access systems or data beyond the supported websites listed above, or in any manner that violates the terms of service of those websites.

8. Developer API terms

The DEVELOPER subscription tier grants access to the Rewardo API via an API key. The following additional terms apply to API access:

  • Permitted use: You may use the API to build applications and tools that display or utilise Rewardo data, provided those applications comply with these terms and our Privacy Policy.
  • Rate limits: API access is subject to rate limits as stated in the API documentation. We reserve the right to adjust rate limits on reasonable notice. Circumventing or attempting to circumvent rate limits is a breach of these terms.
  • No re-identification: You must not attempt to use API data to identify individual users of the Rewardo platform, re-identify any anonymised or aggregated data, or combine API data with other datasets in a way that creates personal data profiles.
  • No bulk redistribution: You must not republish, resell, or redistribute Rewardo data in bulk to third parties or competing services without our prior written consent.
  • Key security: You are responsible for keeping your API key secure. Do not expose your key in publicly accessible source code. Report any suspected compromise to hello@rewardo.travel immediately.
  • Attribution: Applications using the Rewardo API must clearly indicate that data is sourced from Rewardo and provide a link to rewardo.travel.

9. AI Chat terms

The AI Chat feature (AI_AGENT tier) uses large language model technology provided via AWS Bedrock. The following terms apply specifically to AI Chat:

  • AI Chat responses are generated by an AI model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. They do not constitute financial, legal, investment, or booking advice.
  • You must not rely solely on AI Chat responses when making any booking or financial decision. Always verify information with the relevant loyalty programme or a qualified professional.
  • You must not use AI Chat to generate harmful, illegal, or misleading content, or to attempt to extract model weights, system prompts, or configuration data.
  • Conversations are stored for 90 days to provide continuity across sessions and are then permanently deleted. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
  • We may monitor AI Chat usage in aggregate to improve the service and to detect abuse. We do not read individual conversations except where required for safety or legal compliance.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Engage in any unlawful activity, including but not limited to fraud, money laundering, or violation of export controls
  • Harass, abuse, or harm any other user or third party
  • Submit false, fabricated, or manipulated award pricing data
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its underlying systems
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Service or its servers
  • Use automated tools to access the Service in a manner that exceeds normal usage patterns, other than via the provided API with a valid API key
  • Scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract data from the Service except via the Developer API
  • Reproduce, duplicate, or resell any part of the Service or its data for commercial purposes without our written permission
  • Impersonate any person or entity or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, or derive source code from the Service

Breach of these acceptable use provisions may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

11. Data accuracy disclaimer

Award pricing and availability data on Rewardo is sourced from community contributions and is cached for varying periods. While we take steps to verify data quality and flag stale entries, we make no warranty, express or implied, that any data displayed is accurate, current, or complete.

Award availability, point costs, and programme terms can change at any time without notice from the relevant hotel loyalty programme. Rewardo is not responsible for any loss, inconvenience, or costs (including the loss of points, bookings, or redemption opportunities) arising from your reliance on data displayed on the Service.

Always verify availability and pricing directly with the loyalty programme before making any booking decision.

12. Intellectual property

The Rewardo name, logo, Website, Extension, software, and all associated documentation are the intellectual property of B-SQUARED IT CONSULTING LTD and are protected by copyright, trade mark, and other applicable laws. All rights are reserved.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for its intended purpose in accordance with these terms. This licence does not include any right to download, copy, or redistribute the Service or its underlying code except as expressly permitted.

Community-contributed pricing data is, by its nature, factual information about award pricing that is not independently subject to copyright. The compilation and presentation of that data within the Rewardo database is, however, the intellectual property of B-SQUARED IT CONSULTING LTD. You must not bulk-extract or commercially redistribute the compiled database without our prior written consent.

All third-party brand names, trade marks, and programme names (including but not limited to Hilton Honors, IHG One Rewards, World of Hyatt, Marriott Bonvoy, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, and British Airways Executive Club) remain the property of their respective owners. Reference to these names is purely for the purpose of identifying the loyalty programmes whose data the Service covers.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the law of England and Wales, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977:

  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising under or in connection with these terms or your use of the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you to Rewardo in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) £100.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss, including loss of profit, loss of data, or loss of a redemption opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.
  • Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
  • Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

14. Termination

By you: You may close your account at any time from your profile settings or by contacting us at hello@rewardo.travel. If you are on a paid monthly subscription, closure takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service in the following circumstances:

  • Breach of terms: Immediately and without notice where you have materially breached these terms (including any acceptable use violation or submission of fraudulent data).
  • Non-payment: After reasonable notice and an opportunity to cure, where a subscription payment has failed and cannot be recovered within 14 days.
  • Discontinuation of Service: Where we decide to discontinue the Service entirely, we will give paying subscribers at least 30 days' notice and a pro-rata refund of any prepaid subscription fees.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Data already contributed to the community cache (which contains no personal data) will remain in the database.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For changes that are not material (for example, clarifications or corrections), we will post the revised terms on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.

For material changes (for example, changes to subscription prices, the scope of the licence grant, or your consumer rights), we will notify paying subscribers by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you do not agree to the revised terms, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect and you will not be charged under the new terms.

Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.

Complaints: If you have a complaint about the Service, please contact us in the first instance at hello@rewardo.travel. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

Mediation: If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, either party may refer the dispute to mediation before commencing court proceedings.

Jurisdiction: Subject to your statutory rights as a consumer (which may give you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence), disputes shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer based in the United Kingdom, you may also use the Alternative Dispute Resolution scheme.
